MANDATE

The Committee’s principal mandate is to represent CSME members active within the sector of computational mechanics. Major responsibilities are to organize a Symposium on Computational Mechanics (SCM) at the annual CSME Congress, to represent the Canadian computational mechanics community in the International Association of Computational Mechanics (IACM), and to share information about events of interest to computational mechanics community.

  • to promote development of novel algorithms with applications to computational mechanics;
  • to promote non-standard applications of computational mechanics;
  • to bring together colleagues with interests in computational mechanics;
  • to organize relevant symposia during CSME Congresses;
  • to provide Canadian representation to international organization involved in computational mechanics.
