The committee’s principal mandate is to represent CSME members active within the sector of mechatronics, robotics and controls. The committee aims to promote advancements in the field of mechatronics, robotics and control by supporting fundamental and applied research. A major duty is to organize a Symposium on Mechatronics, Robotics and Controls (SMRC) at the annual CSME Congress; other responsibilities include the promotion of TC opportunities within the mechatronics, robotics and controls community, participation in the SMRC by submitting or reviewing papers, and communicating with session participants.
